Locus (Washington Monument, D.C.) - Abstract Art With Real Meaning

(The bluish color is the monument area.)
For this map I used census block data (I could not find free parcel data [circa 2008] covering this area).
Parcel data would have been optimal, considering the union symbolism that is visible from Google Maps, at this location.
(The monument is smack in the middle of the union, forming a phallus, see below. I did not know about the parcel form until I made this map.)
