The Gamble House in Pasadena, California - Locus - Abstract Art With Real Meaning
The Gamble House in Pasadena, California, is an outstanding example of American Arts and Crafts style architecture.
The house and furnishings were designed by Charles and Henry Greene in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble
of the Procter & Gamble Company. The house, a National Historic Landmark, is owned by the City of Pasadena
and operated by the University of Southern California and is open for public tours.

Levy's program of short surrealist films was timed to take place at the same time as the first surrealism exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, featuring Dalí's work. Dalí was in the audience at the screening, but halfway through the film, he knocked over the projector in a rage. "My idea for a film is exactly that, and I was going to propose it to someone who would pay to have it made," he said. "I never wrote it down or told anyone, but it is as if he had stolen it". What a Dal-(lyesque), My Dear!

My Dear, 'tis vahhhse or vAAAse?
Assemblage of a custom blown glass vase / candle holder.
The lantern was given to me.
I'm not sure of the provenance.
Possibly:
"OX-BOW 90" (etched in glass just above middle, above the black spiral; see photo).
The antlers were found branches.
The current state of the antlers is orange.
The original brown branch antlers photo is for documentation of the assemblage's transitional phase.
The vase cornucopia brings to mind Dali, hence Dear Dollyesque.
