Seeder Cross
Either, my grandfather or great grandfather made this tool (or what was a tool).
It was used for planting seeds. It had two handles (which I removed).
I wish I would have taken a picture of what the tool looked like originally (before I transformed it). The metal box dispensed the seeds as the handles were pulled apart.
I almost sent the tool to Goodwill. Good will I didn't! Last minute folk art thinkin' and tinkerin', turned the seeder into this cool func art.

Jhn 12:24-25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn a wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Jhn 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Yes, you can paint your couch, I did!
We've had this couch for over 10 years, and it was time for a re-invention.
First, I stapled the skirt up.
Next, I ordered stainless peg feet.
Finally, I convinced my wife, that regular (egg shell finish) wall paint would give us new lease via a vibrant color (the original color was between forest / pea soup green).
It worked!
(That is, after 3-4 coats of paint, of course. Roller application of the paint worked best.)
And mom made us new pillow covers from old curtains.

The Future Is Now? Pretty Soon, at Least
“Certain aspects of technology follow amazingly predictable trajectories,” he said, and showed a graph of computing power starting with the first electromechanical machines more than a century ago. At first the machines’ power doubled every three years; then in midcentury the doubling came every two years (the rate that inspired Moore’s Law); now it takes only about a year...

Robot achieves scientific first
Discovered new scientific knowledge independently of its human creators:
Laboratory robot called Adam formed a hypothesis on the genetics...
With advances in artificial intelligence, it's conceivable that the role of robots would, in the more distant future, creep deeper into the human realm,
progressing from lab technician to lab head. Robots may even be capable of performing supposed acts of genius, such as Einstein's conception of special relativity...
